→ 각자에게 깨달음이 있어 평화하기를 바랍니다.

"Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth;
I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." ( Matthew 10:34)

(21st century era of civil sovereignty)
→ I hope that each of you will have enlightenment and live in peace.

※①그리이스 철학에서 칼은 이성을 의미합니다.

사전적 의미로 이성은 분별력과 판단력, 아름다움과 추함, 조화와 균형등을 말하고 있읍니다.

In Greek philosophy, the Sword means "Reason".

and I think you know why I say Greek philosophy, so ... what I mean too.
In the dictionary sense, Reason refers to

Discrimination(sense) and Judgment(sense), Beauty and Ugliness, Harmony and Balance.......

나는 예수님의 오심의 목적에 관해서 그리스 철학에 관심이 없습니다.

나는 마가복음 10 장 45 절을 듣습니다.

예수님 자신이,

"사람의 아들은 섬김을 받으러 온 것이 아니라

많은 사람을 섬기고 그들을 위해 자신의 삶을 대속물로 바치려 왔다"고 말씀하셨습니다.

I'm not interested in Greek philosophy

when it comes down to the purpose of Jesus' coming.
I just listen to Mark 10:45 where Jesus himself said,
"The Son of Man came not to be served

but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many."

※② 그리이스 철학에 관심을 기울이는 말이 아니라,

복음서의 기록들은 그리이스 철학과 관련이 있다는 것입니다.
복음은 심지어 그리스-로마의 문학, 문화 및 학문과도 관련이 있다는 것은 신학자들도 알고 있습니다.
그러므로 그 기록물들에는 그 시대의 배경과 상황에 따른 시대적 사고와 비유가 들어 있다는 것입니다.
복음서를 쓴 사람들은 그리이스 사상의 분별과 판단에 의한 이성(理性)의 중요성을 강조한것입니다.

I do not mean it is about paying attention to Greek philosophy

but just about being involved.
The Gospel refers to the Greek-Roman times.

 

Theologians knowing it,
it does not deny that it is even related to the Greek-Roman literature, culture & science.
Therefore, the records contain thinkings of and parables in the era

according to the background and situation of the time.

Those who wrote the Gospel emphasized the importance of Reason

by Prudence and Judgment of Greek thought.

※③《the Kingdom of God Or His Peace?》

"예수는 우리를 위해 십자가 죽음을 택하신 것보다는

우리에게 그분의 평화를 보여 주러 이 땅에 오셨다"
 the Kingdom of God은 왕정시대 봉건적 사고에서 온 신학적 사상이다.

"Jesus came to us to show His peace NOT the Kingdom of God & NOT to die for us.
(The Kingdom of God is a theological thought in feudal thinking in monarchy era.)

"Jesus came to us to show 'His Peace (Peaceful Land)' rather than to die for us."

※④복음서는 글을 알지 못하던 당시 대부분의 사람들에게

쉽게 다가 가기 위해 쓰여진 드라마 대본적 성격을 지니고 있습니다.

로마제국과 유대왕국의 수탈과 헤롯성전 종교권력의 착취행위로,

(유대, 사마리아, 특히 갈릴리) 대부분의 민중들의 삶은 피폐해져만 갔다.

그 고통속에서도 소수의 상층부는 민중의 삶을 외면했다.

마치 일제-나치제국 시대처럼 ...

그런 상황에서 예수는 검(이성)과 상층부의 가족의 혼란을 말하신 것이다.

- The Gospels is a drama written to reach most people(the public) easily

at the time when they did not know the writing.
Due to the expropriation of the Roman Empire, the Jewish kingdom,

the Religious Power in Herod's Temple in Jerusalem,

the lives of most of the people (Jews, Samaria, and especially Galilee) have been ruined.

 Even in the midst of suffering, a small number of upper classes

turned away from the lives of the people.

That is just like the times of the Japanese-Nazi Empire ...

In such a situation, Jesus was talking about the sword (=reason) and the chaos of the upper class family.
