■ John Dominic Crossan(1934 ~)

평생동안 해온 예수연구를 통해,  "이 세상의 주인 되시는 분이 하나님" 이라고 고백하는

아일랜드 태생의 로마 가톨릭 교회 신학자이다. 예수 세미나 (Jesus Seminar)의 공동 대표이며

21세기를 대표하는 자유주의 신학자로 불리운다.

John Dominic Crossan, (born Feb. 17, 1934, Nenagh, Ire.), theologian and former Roman Catholic priest best known for his association with the Jesus Seminar, an organization of revisionist biblical scholars, and his controversial writings on the historical Jesus and the origins of Christianity.

■신화(神話)를 사실(歷史)로 .......

   ■그는 말한다,

    ▪ 고대 사람들이 문자 그대로의 이야기를 전했지만
    ▪ 오늘날의 우리가 그 이야기를 상징적으로 이해할 만큼 영리하지 못하다는 말이다.
    ▪ 그 말은 고대 사람들이 상징적으로 이야기를 전했지만
    ▪ 지금 우리는 그 이야기(神話)를 문자 그대로 받아들일 만큼 멍청하다" 고 말한다.
