언덕 위의 집(Home On The Range)

 

이 노래는 미국에서 1910년에 출판된 『Cowboy's Songs』라는 노래집에 수록된 서부 음악풍의 민요입니다. 1930년에 댈러스의 데이비드 W. 기온이 편곡하고, 1933년에 빙 크로스비가 부른 녹음이 라디오로 방송되어 큰 인기를 얻었습니다. 당시 대통령 루즈벨트의 애창곡이라는 것도 밝혀져 화제가 되었다고 합니다.
